The CCTT delegation actively participated in the conference’s business program. CCTT Secretary General Mikhail Goncharov emphasized the importance of long-term cooperation with OSJD:

«For seven decades, OSJD has played a pivotal role in shaping and developing sustainable and efficient railway communication across the vast Eurasian space. Through joint efforts, OSJD member railways develop regulatory decisions that consistently remove barriers to international freight and passenger transportation by rail. CCTT and OSJD not only signed a Cooperation Agreement in 2007 in St. Gallen but have also maintained active and effective collaboration on international transport corridor development and container cargo transportation organization between Asia and Europe throughout these years. Over nearly 20 years of cooperation, CCTT has participated in approximately 140 OSJD events».

On April 22, the CCTT delegation conducted several working meetings:

  • A multilateral meeting with representatives of railway administrations from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and Georgia to discuss international cargo transportation issues
  • A working session between CCTT Secretary General Mikhail Goncharov and KORAIL Senior Vice President Hong Seung-fe, where agreements were reached on further cooperation regarding cargo transportation with the Republic of Korea via the Trans-Siberian route
  • A meeting involving CCTT, JSC NC «KTZ», JSCo «RZD», and relevant organizations to discuss tariff coordination and train formation technologies at key stations of JSCo «RZD» and JSC NC «KTZ» within the framework of the pilot project «International Freight Express Russia-Kazakhstan» implemented by CCTT, ESP, and KAZLOGISTICS Union of Transport Workers of Kazakhstan
