CCTT Presents Innovative Digital Platform «VEGA»
On June 17, 2026, the CCTT Secretariat hosted a presentation of the digital logistics platform «VEGA». The project was developed by specialists from the Russian University of Transport (RUT (MIIT)) as part of the «Priority 2030» program.
The event was held in a hybrid format and attracted leading industry experts. Participants had the opportunity to thoroughly examine the capabilities of the new digital ecosystem aimed at improving interaction between all transport market participants.

The «VEGA» platform includes four main modules:
- Wagon Module — a system for searching and managing rolling stock
- Container Module — a tool for working with container fleet
- Services Module — a solution for working with non-public railway tracks
- Repair Module — a platform for interaction with wagon repair enterprises
The implementation of the platform will enable:
- Timely formation and dispatch of container trains through management of the replacement fleet
- Acceleration of wagon and container turnover through automated planning and operational exchange of rolling stock and containers
- Reduction of empty runs of freight wagons through selection of optimal options for directing wagons to storage or repair
- Optimization of rolling stock operation processes thanks to a unified digital environment
- Improvement of customer service quality
- Optimization and forecasting of infrastructure load for non-public railway tracks
- Reduction of load on Russian Railways infrastructure
Following the presentation, participants were offered the opportunity to take part in platform testing.
Experts gave a positive assessment to the project, recognizing it as a crucial step in advancing digital logistics and optimizing trans-Eurasian transportation.
