CCTT participated in the Second Meeting of the UNECE Coordination Committee on Euro-Asian Transport links route No. 1
On February 10, 2026, the Second Meeting of the Coordination Committee of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) for the Management of the EATC Railway Route № 1 was held in Minsk, Republic of Belarus. The event was attended by the Secretary General of the International Coordination Council for Trans-Eurasian Transportation, Mikhail Goncharov.
The meeting served as an important platform for discussing key issues of international transport corridor development, sharing experience among route participants, and developing joint solutions to improve its efficiency.

The meeting participants conducted a comprehensive analysis of the current state of the EATC railway route No. 1 and its branches. Special attention was paid to:
- optimization of transportation processes
- cost reduction
- increasing the competitiveness of the corridor in the international transport services market
The Coordination Committee’s activities cover a wide range of tasks, including:
- monitoring the functioning of the corridor and its branches
- developing unified forms for presenting technical and operational indicators by all route participants
- identifying existing and assessing potential bottlenecks (both physical and non-physical barriers)
- developing measures to eliminate identified bottlenecks
- creating joint roadmaps
- preparing recommendations for the development and improvement of the corridor’s functioning
- monitoring tariff conditions for transportation to develop an agreement on сквозной tariff rates along the entire route
- implementing digital tools and digitizing procedures in the transportation process
- assessing risks and forecasting expected effects from implemented measures
- developing proposals to improve the environmental friendliness of the transport corridor
As a result of the meeting:
- priority tasks for the upcoming period were outlined
- a plan for further work of the Committee was approved
