Expert subgroup meetings on transportation organization and marketing, as well as information interaction, were held in Ulaanbaatar. The events took place within the framework of the Joint Working Group (JWG) on organizing container train services between China and Europe.

The seven-party working group included representatives from the railways of:
- Russia
- China
- Mongolia
- Kazakhstan
- Belarus
- Poland
- Germany
Key Discussion Outcomes
During the meetings, experts focused on developing railway communication between China and Europe. Special attention was given to:
- Optimizing container train operations
- Improving the quality of their service
Additionally, CCTT introduced a new pilot service — the International Freight Express. This service opens up new opportunities for container train transportation based on сквозных schedules through key border crossings:
- Brest / Małaszewicze
- Dostyk / Alashankou
- Altynkol / Khorgos
- Zabaikalsk / Manzhouli
- Naushki / Sükhbaatar
- Zamyn-Uud / Erlian
Additional Results
On the sidelines of the event, CCTT management held bilateral meetings with representatives of the transport and logistics company Tuushin. The negotiations identified promising areas for further cooperation.
Awards
For their contribution to the development of the Ulaanbaatar Railway, the following individuals were awarded:
- Inessa Yakovleva, Deputy Head of the Information Technology Department at Russian Railways JSC, Project Manager of CCTT’s Digital Transit project
- Natalya Stepanova, Deputy Secretary General of CCTT
The meeting was an important step in strengthening international cooperation in railway transportation. Participants developed согласованные solutions on key logistics issues and confirmed their readiness to continue joint work.
