The Russian University of Transport (MIIT) is celebrating its 130th anniversary.
CCTT Secretary General Mikhail Goncharov congratulated the university's staff on this milestone.
Over the course of its more than century-long history, RUT (MIIT) has become not just one of the leading transport universities, but a true pillar of the industry. The university preserves and develops engineering traditions, builds human capital, and sets professional training standards.
Today, the transport sector faces complex challenges that require interdisciplinary competencies — from the adoption of digital solutions to building international cooperation. Under these conditions, the partnership between RUT (MIIT) and CCTT remains of strategic importance.
"The key instrument of our joint work is the CCTT Expert Scientific Council. It helps bridge academic training with the real needs of the industry through the implementation of workforce integration programmes, the development of international partnerships, and the forecasting of global transport market trends," Mikhail Goncharov noted.
