The CCTT Secretariat hosted a pivotal Marine Logistics Working Group meeting on June 11, 2026, bringing together over 100 representatives from leading industry stakeholders. The hybrid event was chaired by Sergey Sidorov, Vice President of FESCO Transportation Group.
Key discussion areas focused on current developments in maritime logistics, including market trends, shipbuilding capabilities, and route optimization strategies across global regions.
Agenda highlights:
- Analysis of market dynamics and current performance in container shipping
- Exploration of shipbuilding and repair opportunities in Russia and partner countries, with a focus on China and India collaboration
- Assessment of Hormuz Strait logistics implications for international shipping
- Development strategies for Omani and African port routes
- Framework for supporting Russian transport companies in African markets
Participant representation included experts from transportation authorities, port operators, railway companies, shipping lines, terminal operators, logistics providers, insurance firms, financial institutions, and academic organizations across Russia, China, Iran, India, UAE, Germany, Vietnam, Indonesia, Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan, Turkey, and South Korea.
Meeting outcomes established a strategic platform for addressing industry challenges and opportunities. Key achievements included:
